VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology) is a premier Registered Training Organisation (RTO no: 20829) and has established a sound reputation both in domestic and overseas markets for delivering quality education since 1998. Our inner city Melbourne locations are conveniently close to major shopping, restaurants, entertainment centres and are well serviced by public transport.

VIT students have access to excellent facilities and resources, these include, fully equipped 'State-of-the-Art' kitchens, workshops, audiovisual equipment and personal computer labs. VIT's resource centre includes a Higher Education electronic library that allows students to access over 1,000 full-text e-Journals, plus 2,500 e-Books.

We specialise in offering a broad range of accredited vocational education and training programs in the fields of Information Technology, Commercial Cookery, Patisserie, Hospitality, and English. Our courses specifically focus on industry needs and provide our graduates with the qualifications and skills that meet the needs of the modern day workplace and are in demand globally. 

As specialists in the IT sector, VIT is a SAP University Alliance Program member, Oracle Gold Partner, Microsoft IT Academy Program Member, accredited Microsoft Certified Partner since 2000 and is also recognised as a quality Higher Education provider through its Bachelor of Information Technology and Systems (BITS) program, facilitating a pathway for all Diploma of IT (Networking) students into our own Higher Education course! Our qualifications are recognised by professional industry bodies: Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA provider no: PRV14007)
