Admission criteria
Undergraduate
Applicants must hold one of the following to be considered eligible for admission into an Alphacrucis College bachelor degree program:
- NSW HSC, with an ATAR of 65.00+, or equivalent
- qualification at Certificate IV level or above, awarded under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
Mature-aged applicants (21+ years) can apply for provisional entry but require the successful completion of the first four subjects to be permitted to continue the program.
Applicants with Vocational Education and Training (VET) study
Alphacrucis College VET programs are accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, the national regulator for Australia’s VET sector. For admission requirements for diploma-level programs, visit the Alphacrucis College website.
Applicants with work and life experience
For those who do not meet undergraduate admission criteria, Alphacrucis College offers entry pathways via diploma-level programs in business, leadership, ministry and music. Each pathway confers up to one year’s (eight subjects) credit towards an Alphacrucis College bachelor degree.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
A student’s admission requirements may be reconsidered on educational disadvantage grounds if the applicant is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent and where the normal HSC entry path has not been followed. These Special Admission Pathways are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the Program Director. For higher education students, the Program Director’s recommendation is then tabled for approval by the Admissions Committee.
Domestic applicants with overseas qualifications
Applicants who have completed school or tertiary education overseas are still eligible for study. All academic transcripts will be required. The relevant school leaver scaling system will be measured against Australia’s to present an equivalent. This score still needs to meet the 65.00+ rule.
English language proficiency
International student applicants are required to provide an IELTS of 6.5 with no band score below 6.0, or English test results deemed equivalent.
How to apply
Apply directly to Alphacrucis College. Applications are always open.
